The Wheaton Park District was incorporated in 1921. Today, the mission statement of the Wheaton Park District is to create vibrant, welcoming spaces and activities that inspire fun, foster connection, strengthen the community, and enrich well-being for all. Facilities of the Wheaton Park District include Cosley Zoo, Arrowhead Golf Club, Rice Pool & Water Park, Northside Park, Central Athletic Complex, and Community Center.  Programming includes early childhood, athletic leagues and tournaments, senior and special events.
