Advocacy Essentials Seminar
Kick off the experience with Advocacy Essentials, a half-day program designed for chamber executives, board members, and staff who want to better understand the power of advocacy—and how to begin leveraging it within their organization.
Join Elliot Richardson, Co-Founder and President of the Small Business Advocacy Council, and Neil Malone, Director of Government Affairs for the Naperville Area Chamber of Commerce, as they:
- Demystify the legislative process
- Walk through how policy moves from idea to law
- Define your role in the advocacy process
- Share strategies for engaging chamber membership
- Provide a practical roadmap to get started
- The program will conclude with an exclusive tour of the Illinois State Capitol.
