WDSRA is THE place for engaging community-based social & recreational programs for individuals with special needs. Creative, innovative programming for individuals of all ages provides the opportunity to build social groups and make friends. There is an interest for everyone including competitive and recreational athletics, Special Olympics, adaptive sports, music, dance, art, theater, social clubs, camps, trips, special events and more!

WDSRA is a cooperative extension of nine park districts in the western suburbs of Chicago including: Bloomingdale, Carol Stream, Glen Ellyn, Naperville, Roselle, Warrenville, West Chicago, Wheaton and Winfield.
