We are an award-winning integrative medicine clinic specializing in women's health, auto-immune disorders, and pain relief. We offer Acupuncture, functional medicine, Chinese herbal formulas, pharmaceutical-grade supplements, conventional medicine, nutrition, and more. Our practice works as a team to resolve your health issues. 

The Emperor's Medicine was established in 2007 and has been featured in many publications including Images of Modern American - Naperville. We have helped thousands of patients achieve optimal health by integrating both Eastern medicine and conventional medicine. Every patient is treated with a plan that is designed just for them. 

We look at all recent lab results and may request additional labs to treat the root issue not just the symptoms. We also use traditional Chinese medicine diagnosis tools such as tongue and pulse diagnosis to come up with the best treatment plan for you. Many of our patients seek us out because they don't feel good but their lab results say they are normal. Normal is not optimal and if you are on the high or low end of "normal" your body is probably struggling. Why wait until you are outside the normal range? We at The Emperor's Medicine work to prevent it from going outside the normal range and bring it in the middle. 

The owner, Dr. Selma Gladney, has been to China 3 times to study with the best oriental medicine physicians in the top Oriental medicine hospitals in Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou, and Hong Kong. She has also studied acupuncture for cancer care at MD Anderson Cancer Center in Houston Texas. She is also co-president of the Illinois Society of Acupuncturists and is very dedicated to the advancement of her profession.
