Tuesday, March 3, 2026 (12:00 PM - 1:30 PM) (CST)

Description

NACC's monthly Lunch with a Leader series highlights one local Leader in a friendly, sit-down atmosphere. Sit side-by-side community leaders and fellow chamber members around a king's table as we learn about the professional and personal journey of our leaders over a plated meal. Registration is required as we are unable to accommodate walk-ins with limited seating.

THIS MONTH'S LEADER

Dr. Benjamin "Benny" White
Councilman, City of Naperville

Dr. Benjamin "Benny" White is a graduate of the United States Military Academy at West Point and a retired U.S. Army Lieutenant Colonel, having served 22 years in uniform. A values-driven leader, his experience spans public service, education, and governance. Benny currently serves as a Councilman for the City of Naperville, where he focuses on responsible stewardship, community engagement, and long-term strategic planning.

Following his military career, Benny transitioned into education and leadership development, bringing a people-first approach shaped by decades of leading teams in complex and high-stakes environments through Army leadership and operational experience.

His leadership philosophy is grounded in the Army’s seven core values, loyalty, duty, respect, selfless service, honor, integrity, and personal courage, which he translates into practical business and civic leadership principles such as building trust, owning outcomes, leading ethically under pressure, and making difficult decisions in the best interest of the organization and community.

Active in the community, Benny serves on multiple boards and civic initiatives and is deeply committed to mentoring emerging leaders. He holds a Master of Science from Indiana University, an MBA from Webster University, and a Doctor of Business Administration from Benedictine University.
