Mom Builds Seven-Figure Pinot’s Palette Franchise
After nearly a decade-long career pause to raise her son, Pam Bartlett (above) never imagined that a paintbrush would lead her to build a seven-figure business. But today, she’s the proud owner of the first Pinot’s Palette franchise in Illinois and a recognized leader in her Naperville community.
Bartlett’s former career in corporate America offered stability and structure, but it never quite fulfilled her creative side. When she stepped away to focus on family, she began to feel the pull toward something more meaningful. One evening, a spontaneous visit to a paint-and-sip class opened her eyes to a new possibility and she immediately recognized the business potential behind the experience.
“I never thought it would lead to my next chapter,” she says. “It brought together everything I loved: creativity, people and meaningful experiences.” Motivated by a lifelong dream of entrepreneurship, Bartlett began researching business models that could blend art, community and joy. When she came across Pinot’s Palette, she knew she had found the right fit and opened her studio in 2013 in the Chicago suburb.
