'Managing BIG Emotions' Tween Art Therapy Group  (Ages 10-13)

When: Saturdays 1:00PM - 1:50PM, October 8th - November 12th, 2022

Cost: $300/ 6 Weeks

IN PERSON at the Center for Creative Arts Therapy (2600 Warrenville Rd., Suite 205, Downers Grove, IL 60515)

Description: Everyone has big emotions! Wouldn't it be great to understand them better? And to have tools for supporting those feelings?

Now that tweens are back to school and into their fall routine, it is a great time for them to start our six-week Tween Art Therapy Group! This group is a safe space for tweens to break down big feelings and talk about how to manage them, with the support of licensed and masters-level clinicians. Topics covered in this group include emotional expression, emotional regulation, developing a better understanding of the self, and identifying supports. Participants will be encouraged to process their feelings through art making, movement, and creating movable visuals. Perfect for tweens that like to build, play, and create!

This group meets every Saturday from 1pm-1:50pm beginning October 8th, 2022. The cost is $300 ($50 per session).
