The Naperville Parks Foundation is a 501 (c)(3) charitable organization overseen by a 10 member Board of Directors. The Foundation serves as a conduit for people and companies to make donations which will be used to improve and enhance our parks and open spaces. The Foundation also serves as a conduit for grants from both private and governmental entities. The Foundation works with other organizations and volunteers who are advocating for specific projects that complement the mission of the Foundation. These “specific project” improvements to our parks and open spaces are in cooperation with, and have the approval of, the Naperville Park District or other such organization. The Foundation acts as the conduit for donations to these “specific projects”, and helps the volunteers and organizations with planning and organizing these “specific project” efforts.
