Description

Climate change, carbon footprints, greenhouse gases, renewable energy…

Do these words sound like a mystery to you? As a business owner, what positive impact can you make on sustainable initiatives?

On October 20th, Naperville Area Chamber of Commerce’s Corporate Social Responsibility Committee will be leading a program designed to help you as a business owner:

  • Understand sustainable practices and why we are hearing so much about them
  • Learn about the financial incentives in place for Naperville business from Anna Maria Kowalik of the Illinois Energy Conservation Authority.
  • Learn what Naperville is doing to meet their sustainability goals by 2036 from NEST’s, (Naperville Environmental and Sustainability Task Force) chair Carl VanDril
  • Hear from the City of Naperville’s Sustainability Coordinator, Ben Mjolsness on our city’s commitment to the environment

The program will conclude with an open forum Q&A session with these local and state leaders in sustainability.
