I have been working in the heating and air conditioning field since I was 16. My dad owned a heating and air conditioning business on the south side for which I worked for several years before moving to DuPage County. I worked for a few larger companies in the area, both as a Service Technician and as a Service Manager, doing residential and commercial work. I then decided it was time to branch out on my own as the business practices did not always coincide with my values. I feel that quality of service and installation should be the top priority in an HVAC company. If the products are not installed properly, they will not function properly or provide the efficiency or capacity levels for which they were designed. This attention to detail is what separates us from our competitors and is the nitch in the industry we fill.

In 2005, my dream of owning and running my own business became a reality. The former owner of Pent-Air, Inc. (a Naperville business for over 30 years) sold his business to me in the interest of retiring in a few years. We changed the name of the business and it is now Dutchman Heating and Cooling, Inc. We are a Christian owned business and have been since 1975.

Utilizing my 30+ years of technical experience as well as conducting extensive research, I have found the American Standard product line to be the best in the industry. I firmly believe in the quality of these products. While I work on many different types of equipment, I have found the American Standard product line to be exceptional and to aid in efficiency. I consistently use them for replacement of existing equipment or adding new equipment.

Through proven high standards, Dutchman is proud to be selected as an American Standard Customer Care Dealer. Michael Calabrese

Michael Calabrese is the principal of Calabrese Associates in Warrenville, Illinois.  His practice of nearly 30 years is concentrated in all areas of family law litigation, and his firm also provides services in estate planning, probate, real estate, civil litigation, and tax matters.  He serves the community through his board of director’s positions on the Executive Committee as as the Governance Chair of the Naperville Area Chamber of Commerce, Program Chair of The Rotary Club of Naperville as well as Treasurer of the Sons of the American Legion.  His is past chair of the Family Law, Law Practice Management and Professional Responsibility Committees of the DuPage County Bar Association, and has served as advisor to CASA of DuPage and Family Shelter Service. He has written and lectured on a wide range of legal topics, is a frequent speaker and volunteer at free legal clinics, and his firm consistently provides pro-bono services to indigent clients.  He is also fluent in Spanish. He and his wife Rena Tamayo-Calabrese have lived in Naperville for over 30 years where they raised three successful adult daughters.

As the Director of Community Relations at Naperville Community Unit School District 203, I am responsible for leading the strategic communication, marketing, and outreach efforts of one of the top-ranked school districts in Illinois. I have a Master of Public Service degree and over 6 years of experience in this role, as well as a background in nonprofit organizations and municipalities.

My core competencies include building and maintaining strong relationships with various stakeholders, such as students, parents, staff, media, and community partners, as well as coordinating and executing special events and fundraising initiatives. I have successfully increased the visibility, engagement, and support of the district among diverse audiences, resulting in enhanced student achievement, staff recognition, and community involvement. Some of my accomplishments include launching a new district website, developing a comprehensive communication plan, supporting our foundation, and organizing various events and recognition programs. I am also skilled in coaching, sales, public relations, relationship building, marketing, and team building. My mission is to foster a culture of collaboration, trust, and excellence within the district and the community.

Chris Landis serves as vice president and designated managing broker at Calamos Real Estate, at the Chicagoland commercial brokerage, property manager and developer.

Landis joined the firm in 2019 as an analyst and, in February 2023, was named vice president. He is engaged in development and investment sales, and leads property leasing for the firm. Among his achievements, Landis brokered Naperville’s largest office lease of 2022 when M/I Homes relocated its Midwest headquarters to the firm’s flagship development, CityGate Centre where office leasing exceeds 86 percent and retail exceeds 90 percent.

Landis also brought to market “CityGate Flex”, a solution for early-stage businesses in growth stages, which has maintained more than 90 percent occupancy since launch; and he created Calamos Real Estate’s residential property management vertical focusing on the small multifamily niche. Since joining Calamos Real Estate, Landis has leased more than 60,000 square feet of Class A commercial space.

As an entrepreneur, Landis also runs a small business focused on workforce development and durable construction of affordable, modern homes in underserved markets. He volunteers with the nonprofit SEAL Future Foundations, leading the Chicago Chapter, bridging the transition for military personnel into private sector roles.

Prior to joining Calamos Real Estate Landis served in active duty with the U.S. Navy for nine years. He earned a Bachelor of Science degree in chemical engineering from Miami University in Ohio and is a member of the Urban Land Institute.
