The Marketing Intern is a temporary position that allows college students or recent college graduates, studying a marketing related field to gain valuable marketing and business skills that may be applied to their curriculum and to their future career. The intern will work closely with the Marketing Director, Marketing Manager and Marketing Content Developer. The primary role is to support the marketing team in any area where assistance is needed on daily tasks and projects where their abilities are applicable.
Assist marketing department on assigned projects
Desire and ability to work in a diverse, fast moving, office and manufacturing environment.
Market research, including online/retail competitive audits, create reports with findings to be shared with team
Organization of samples, tradeshow materials, etc.
Assist in product launch materials, mockups, sales tool kits
Website refreshes including data updates to product spec sheets and assist in creation of new product catalog
EDUCATION AND TRAINING:
Minimum 3 years completed towards Bachelors Degree or recent graduate in Marketing, Advertising, Communications, or related field. Graphic Design or Web Design experience a plus.
Proficient in MS Office with specific focus in Excel, Word and PowerPoint
Excellent written, verbal and presentation skills for communicating within the organization.
Strong organizational skills with high attention to detail.
Ability to work a flexible schedule during the summer months, 3 days a week (Tuesday-Thursday)
Position is located in-person at the Naperville corporate office
Must be team oriented with the ability to work on high collaboration and performance teams.
