Come join the NACC Women In Business along with other hosting chambers for this Multi-Chamber Event: A Woman’s Worth: Building Intergenerational Wealth. This luncheon event will take place at Eagle Brook Country Club.


A woman’s worth is important to everyone, and this event is open to both men and women! Registration ticket includes a plated lunch and dessert.

About The Speaker: 

Based in Chicago, Charisse is a Managing Partner and Head of Next Street’s Advisory Practice. In her role, Charisse is responsible for overseeing all elements of the firm’s Advisory Practice, including driving business development, managing profitability and operations, and delivering client solutions. Prior to serving as Head of the Advisory Practice, Charisse was Head of the firm’s Chicago market, a position she assumed upon her arrival at the firm in December of 2015. Over her tenure, Charisse has delivered small business and community investment ecosystem assessments and strategies in Chicago, Columbus, Dallas, and Houston as well as offered tailored financial and investment solutions to clients nationwide. Finally, Charisse has expertise in developing client solutions through racial equity and an inclusive lens. Prior to Next Street, Charisse was CEO of Smarteys, Inc., a small business that provided financial planning tools for college grads. 

Prior to Smarteys, Charisse was a Vice President at JPMorgan Asset Management, where she made investment decisions for a $10 billion mid-cap equity portfolio. Charisse is a graduate of Yale University and the University of Chicago Booth School of Business and is a chartered financial analyst (CFA) charter holder. Charisse is also the author of the book A Wealthy Girl: 7 Steps to Prosperity, Peace, and Personal Power, which offers a new perspective on how to build wealth by offering seven concrete steps that will not only provide financial prosperity but peace and personal power.
