NACC's monthly Lunch with a Leader series highlights one local Leader in a friendly, sit-down atmosphere. Sit side-by-side community leaders and fellow chamber members around a king's table as we learn about the professional and personal journey of our leaders over a plated meal. Registration is required as we are unable to accommodate walk-ins with limited seating.

Market Manager

Korinne Srabonian is the Market Manager for IKEA Bolingbrook, bringing more than 25 years of retail leadership, business development, and people-focused coaching to the community she proudly calls home. Her career spans mall‑based retail to large-format big-box environments, giving her a deep understanding of changing consumer expectations and the evolving demand for convenience, speed, and meaningful customer experiences.

Korinne joined IKEA in 2001, beginning her journey as a sales coworker. Over the next two decades, she advanced through a variety of roles—including Communication & Interior Design Manager—before stepping into Market Manager positions across multiple IKEA locations. She led the Schaumburg store through the unprecedented challenges of the COVID‑19 pandemic, continued her leadership journey in Milwaukee for two years, and has spent the last four years leading the IKEA Bolingbrook market. Her leadership is rooted in a passion for developing both people and business together.

While building her career, Korinne also navigated life as a single mother determined to continue her education. In 2017, she was honored as one of only 20 recipients nationwide to receive the National Retail Federation’s Dream Big Scholarship, earning a full‑tuition scholarship to the University of Phoenix. She went on to complete her degree in Business—a milestone that reflects her personal resilience, drive, and belief in lifelong learning.
